I wear and buy a lot of vintage platforms from the 1990s. Regardless of how good of a condition they are in, the reality is that I am buying at least 20 year old shoes. Almost always the glue has rotted, and the heels come off after just one or two outings. An English Cobbler has successfully repaired and restored every pair I have bought them so far, often replacing the sole and/or tread with a superior quality. They come out of there is a timely fashion, ready for real durable wear, and looking much better with a shine and clean up. They are also very friendly and fun to talk to!
